PepsiCo's Global Groups are responsible for developing and driving global brand portfolio strategy and breakthrough innovation for each of PepsiCo's key global Snack, Beverage and Nutrition brands. As a member of the Innovation team within the Global Nutrition Group, you will play a critical role in identifying new innovation opportunities and developing the business case behind each project. The Innovation Senior Manager will work in collaboration with key country marketers and Global Group stakeholders to drive this agenda.






Key Accountabilities:
• Leadership role in the development of the Medium/Long-Term Global Innovation Strategy and Pipeline ready for field deployment focused on Healthy Cereals (Oatmeal and Adult Healthy Ready-to-Eat Cereals)
• Leads all elements of the innovation business case development and validation: consumer, technical, financial and operational work-streams;
• Leads cross functional global team(s) inclusive of R&D, Finance, Operations, Global Procurement and Legal/Regulatory;
• Leads all communication with key global markets on Healthy Cereals strategy and pipeline. Priority regions include North America, Western Europe, and Mexico;
• Provides regular updates and organizes meetings to update key stakeholders on project status;
• Executes Innovation Work plans by developing strong/effective creative briefs to agency and new product development briefs for R&D;
• Proactively identifies key bottle necks, potential delays and resource gaps and works closely with the Innovation Director in their quick / timely resolution;
• Supports Innovation Director in the development of Healthy Cereals Innovation Platform ideas via leveraging understanding of consumer trends, insights, competitive pressures and portfolio gaps;
• Provides Analytical support on development of Global Innovation Platforms working with consumer and markets data;
• Builds a reservoir of Innovation Best Practices and Proactively shares with the markets;
• Conducts review of key competitive initiatives to support individual and broader team agenda and reports back to key stakeholders accordingly;
• Works with Key Market / Sector Project leaders in developing sales/sell in material for Innovation Tool Kits to the Field and Key Account Teams;
• Manages Innovation Budget


Minimum Qualifications:
• Undergraduate Degree
• A minimum of 8 years prior Marketing experience (if undergrad degree only) OR 5 years of prior Marketing experience (if an MBA)
• Prior Marketing Innovation experience
• Clear passion and curiosity for global trends, cultures, consumer dynamics
• Ability to work and thrive in ambiguous, less-structured environments (able to "jump in" and contribute even when facts are not yet 100% clear)
• Strong creative thinking and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Demonstrate cultural awareness and dexterity
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA with a concentration in Marketing
• Prior global experience or a solid understanding of global markets outside home country
