This is a field based position that would ideally be located in Chicago (Plaza) however, the Washington DC or Atlanta areas are opportunities as well.

Costco is one of PepsiCo's largest customers globally, representing in excess of $1b in sales. Costco US has 8 regional buying offices in which local buying decisions are made. This position is the primary DSD Account Sales Manager for Costco's Eastern Regions (NR $80MM+) and has a high degree of influence to impact the business results within each of three Costco Regional Offices (Midwest, Northeast & Southeast). All three regions are Costco's growth expansion geographies. Interaction with Costco Buyer & Ast Buyer (direct decision makers) on programs and impact execution w/in the region. In addition, strong interaction and collaboration with the PBC Regions and Franchise Bottlers. Position reports to Director of Sales - Costco Beverage Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary Account Owner and point of contact for Costco's 3 Eastern Regions: Northeast (Wash. D.C.), Midwest (Chicago), Southeast (Atlanta)
• Volume, Net Revenue, MC $ targets ownership & impact within each region
• This role would sell and execute against Pepsi's national initiatives, innovation and account specific programs. In addition, identify regional opportunities to grow the business through regional items, rotations and incremental item extensions.
• Lead Alignment/Forecasting Execution across 4 PBC regions & FOBOs.
• Lead Quarterly Business Planning(QBP) process w/in Four(4) PBC regions for Costco
• Drive execution alignment with our bottling partners on national programming & proactively develop regional rotation opportunities
• Own drive execution performance with the field work on issue/ resolution, capitalize on efficiencies, and maximize service opportunities
• Lead monthly PBC KAM calls to ensure full field understanding & alignment
• Build strategic annual and quarterly plans Develop period forecast for each Costco & PBC region to ensure forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; Business, Marketing or Sales major preferred and/or relevant years of experience
• 5 Yrs. progressive CPG experience selling at multiple levels of the organization
• Strategic Account management experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic customer plan
• Ability to communicate with impact; exceptional oral & written communication skills
• Demonstrate strong analytical and presentation skills
• Strong business and financial acumen with demonstrated ability to effectively partner with customer to deliver winning solutions
• Technical and PC skills, specifically MS Office applications ~Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem solving skills. Experience working with IRI data and Category Management experience preferred
• Strong cross-functional team orientation and experience in leading teams in business development
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships based on integrity and trust with the customer and internal contacts
