Business development is critical for all companies.

This interactive session is designed to assist participants in

using business development strategies that get results, and

actually drafting a business development plan for their company

to get more work. Participants will receive information on

business development strategies based upon research.

Access to Bonding

This session will aim to educate small construction contractors

about industry challenges and to assist participants in their effort

to obtain surety bonds or increase their bonding capacity. The

program is open to all contractors seeking to increase their

business capacity and run their operation more efficiently.

Overview:
The Chicago Police Department, in partnership with the Departments of Buildings and Law, along with Community Investment Corporation (CIC) will be hosting a series resource of workshops for the owners and managers of residential properties of varying sizes.

Goal:
To assist the managers and property owners in order to increase their personal level of safety and learn how to work with the police and other partners to improve the level of safety surrounding their properties.

Topics:
Topics include but are not limited to: Understanding the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Tips to Reduce Crime at Your Property Understanding the Building Code, Best Practices of Property Management, and Personal Safety.
