The Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County, along with a number of governmental agencies and community groups, will host the 11th annual community-based, full service Expungement Summit & Ex-Offender Job Information Seminar on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Living Word Christian Center, 7600 W. Roosevelt Rd., Forest Park, Illinois. Summit registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and doors close at 6 p.m.

I am respectfully requesting your assistance in spreading the word about this important public service to your constituents. Please have your office post the attached event flyer and make them available to the public. We appreciate your assistance in creating increased awareness of this vital community event.

Chicago Police Department...2015 Crime Abatement Workshops

Overview:
The Chicago Police Department, in partnership with the Departments of Buildings and Law, along with Community Investment Corporation (CIC) will be hosting a series resource of workshops for the owners and managers of residential properties of varying sizes.

Goal:
To assist the managers and property owners in order to increase their personal level of safety and learn how to work with the police and other partners to improve the level of safety surrounding their properties.

Topics:
Topics include but are not limited to: Understanding the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Tips to Reduce Crime at Your Property Understanding the Building Code, Best Practices of Property Management, and Personal Safety.
